In this busy, chaotic world it is very important for our day to day happiness and peace that we learn how to control our mind. This is a practical course designed to show us how to apply simple meditation techniques and basic Buddhist psychology in the midst of a normal, modern lifestyle. Everyone is welcome; no previous meditation experience is necessary.

Class is $10, $5 for students/seniors (cash, check, Visa or Mastercard). Free for supporting members. We are a non-profit organization and teachers are volunteers.

Meditation in Alaska is taught by Rick Zelinsky. Rick is a longtime meditator and student of Kadampa Buddhism. Rick is admired for his clear and practical teaching style.
