The Heart Practices of Training the Mind at the IKRC Grand Canyon

FRIDAY OCTOBER 19 – WEDNESDAY OCTOBER 24

Come experience a blissful five-day away retreat based on the teachings given at the International Fall Festival. Join sangha friends for a unique experience of learning how to live a life of great good fortune and wisdom while enjoying the beautiful, peaceful environment of the International Kadampa Retreat Center Grand Canyon.

Gen Sanden and Gen Khedrub will guide weekend meditations on Buddha’s Sutra teachings on Training the Mind, or Lojong. These powerful meditations help us to overcome discouragement by transforming obstacles and difficulties into the spiritual path. The second half of the retreat will focus on the Tantric practice of Buddha Amitayus, meditations that increase our positive energy and and protect us from harm. Everyone is welcome to attend any part of the retreat.
