Vajrasattva Retreat

JANUARY 3-31

During the month of January, we have the precious opportunity to accomplish the preliminary guide of purification practice in a group retreat. By simplifying our life for only a few weeks, receiving the support of Sangha, and engaging in Dharma practice with joyful effort, we can accomplish 100,000 Vajrasattva mantras during this one month. This a rare opportunity to empower our spiritual practice and receive tremendous blessings.

This retreat will take place in the new back retreat room, and onsite accommodations are available for a short or long stay.

Retreatants are encouraged to commit to the entire month of retreat if they can. However, participants are also welcome to engage in one week of the retreat, or even attend for just a single day or a single session. Please contact the Education Program Coordinator at education@meditateinseattle.org with any questions about engaging in this retreat.

On January 20, Gen Khedrub will give short teachings and guide meditations during all four sessions. Click here for details.

Cost: $250 for entire month / $85 per week / $15 per day (except for January 20) / $5 per session. Everyone is welcome.

Session times
Session 1: 7:30AM
Session 2: 10:30AM
Session 3: 4:00PM
Session 4: 7:00PM

Buddha taught many different methods to purify non-virtuous actions, downfalls and broken commitments, but the supreme method is the practice of meditation and recitation of Vajrasattva.
