Lunchtime Meditation

WEDNESDAY 12:00 – 12:45PM

Take a break from your day with these 45 minute sessions focused on the 21 Lamrim meditations, a series of meditations that form the backbone of Kadampa Buddhism. Each class includes a short teaching and guided meditations. Perfect for new and experienced meditators alike.

Class is $10 ($5 for students/seniors). Free for supporters. We are a non-profit organization and all teachers are volunteers.

Lunchtime Meditation is taught Mary Kolb. Mary is a senior student on the Foundation Program at Kadampa Meditation Center Washington and has a warm and clear way of teaching.

Do I have to be a Buddhist to benefit from this class? No. Anyone can learn basic meditation and experience the benefits that come from having a peaceful mind. The teachings are suitable for everyone, regardless of faith, background or experience.

Do I need to come to the entire series? No, each class is self contained and offered on a drop-in basis. Come to as many classes as you like.

What do I need to bring to class? If you wish to take notes, bring a pen and notepad.

How should I dress for class? Come as you are. We ask that shoes be removed prior to entering the meditation room
