Meditation in Anchorage is a growing community of beginning and experienced meditators exploring the benefits of meditation and the true causes of happiness. We are a branch of Kadampa Meditation Center Washington in Seattle and offer the teachings of Kadampa Buddhism. You do not need to be Buddhist to benefit from these teachings – everyone can benefit from a more peaceful mind!
We offer a weekly class on Monday evenings and occasional special events. Everyone is welcome, no previous experience with Buddhism or meditation is necessary.

In his wisdom teachings, Buddha explained the relationship between our mind and our world. When we study and meditate on these teachings we can overcome confusion, make practical changes in life and remove obstacles to realizing our full potential.
Meditation in Alaska is taught by Rick Zelinsky. Rick is a longtime meditator and student of Kadampa Buddhism. Rick is admired for his clear and practical teaching style.
