West Seattle Drop-in Class

In this busy, chaotic world it is very important for our day to day happiness and peace that we learn how to control our mind. This is a practical course designed to show us how to apply simple meditation techniques and basic Buddhist psychology in the midst of a normal, modern lifestyle. Everyone is welcome; no previous meditation experience is necessary.

Cost per class is $12, $6 for students/seniors 62+ (cash, check, Visa or Mastercard). Free for supporters. We are a non-profit organization and the teachers are volunteers.

Meditation in West Seattle is taught by Linda Fane. Linda is a longtime Buddhist practitioner and taught the Foundation Program at KMC WA in Ballard for many years. She makes her home in West Seattle and is admired for her inspiring, heartfelt and practical teachings.

Do I have to be a Buddhist to benefit from this class? No. Anyone can learn basic meditation and experience the benefits that come from having a peaceful mind. The teachings are suitable for everyone, regardless of faith, background or experience.

Do I need to come to the entire series? No, each class is self contained and offered on a drop-in basis. Come to as many classes as you like.

What do I need to bring to class? If you wish to take notes, bring a pen and notepad.

How should I dress for class? Come as you are.
