Kadampa Meditation Center Washington is a member of the New Kadampa Tradition – International Kadampa Buddhist Union (NKT-IKBU), which is made up of many meditation centers throughout the world, together with our publishers Tharpa Publications.

We are committed to protecting your privacy. We will only store, use, and disclose the information that we collect from you lawfully in accordance with the Data Protection Act of 1998. When you sign up for a course or other event, to receive the newsletter, or to make a donation, we will need to take information such as your name, home address, email address, phone number, and debit or credit card details. We will only use this information for such purposes as processing any payment you have made; providing the course, event, or newsletter that you have signed up for; and for our records.

If you have chosen to receive our newsletter, this will include details of upcoming meditation classes, events, news, and opportunities – for example, to volunteer or to help financially – offered by Kadampa Meditation Center Washington and other NKT-IKBU meditation centers. It may also include details of Buddhist books and other items offered by Tharpa Publications.

We may need to share your personal information with third parties who perform services on our behalf. However, we will not share your email address or other personal information with any other organization without your consent unless we are required to do so by law.

Our website, newsletter and other emails sometimes contain links to other websites. This Privacy Policy does not apply to other websites so, if you visit them, you should read their own privacy policies.
