Even though we put a lot of energy into arranging our life for this purpose, it can feel like any happiness we do find is short-lived. Instead, problem after problem still arise in our life and we become ever-more exhausted, anxious and dissatisfied.

In this talk, Kadam Trina will share the life-changing wisdom of Buddha on how to find deep, lasting happiness in our busy and challenging lives. This talk will include a guided meditation and an opportunity for questions.

Transforming Pain into Peace with Buddhist Meditation
Sat Oct 17 | 10am - 1pm

With Kadampa Buddhist Teacher, Kadam Trina Gunther

In the midst of problems, conflicts and adversities, how can we maintain a balanced and positive mind?

Buddha taught a special method that enables us to use all our difficult circumstances and painful experiences for profound mental growth, called “transforming adverse conditions into the path.”

Transforming adverse condition into the path is vital in these degenerate times because we are constantly surrounded by difficulties. There is no way of avoiding difficult situations, but if we can change our attitude toward them, they will no longer be problems for us.

In this workshop, Kadam Trina will introduce this method on how to transform our mind from unhappy and anxious to peaceful and positive with whatever circumstances arise in our life. There will be guided meditations and opportunties for Q and A.
