About this Retreat

Although Buddha taught many different methods to purify negative or non-virtuous actions and other obstacles from our mind, the supreme method is the practice of meditation and recitation of Vajrasattva, the Buddha of purification.

Venerable Geshe-la says, “This practice is the scientific method to purify our mind and to transform our mind from an impure mind into a pure mind using Tantric technology.”

This retreat provides an opportunity to learn and gain deep experience of this important spiritual practice.

The retreat starts on Tuesday evening with an introductory talk, taught by Kadam Trina. This talk is mandatory for TTP students and for those wishing to participate in this retreat who have not engaged in this retreat before. All retreat sessions (Wednesday-Saturday) are self-guided.

If you are newer to purification meditation, or would like a refresher on this important practice, we are offering a special guided purification day retreat on this practice Saturday, December 6 - Purifyng the Past Day Retreat
